Depending on the type of terrain, the irrigation hole to be made is of different depth, it is recommended

  • Good drainage: 45-50 cm.
  • Average drainage: 60-65 cm.
  • Poor Drainage: 70-80 cm.

 When making the hole, we recommend making it 2 mm larger in diameter than the rubber/drain tube. If the rubber/drain pipe is – 16mm, the hole is 20mm – 20mm, the hole is 22mm

Dilations

When installing the DRS, the expansion of the irrigation rubber must be taken into account. The irrigation rubber stretches with heat and shrinks with cold.

Normally dilations oscillate more or less over 1%, this means that:

In 100 meters of rubber with cold temperatures it would shrink approximately 1 meter.

In 50 meters of rubber it shrinks half a meter (approximately 50 centimeters).

In 25 meters of rubber (shrinks approximately 25 centimeters)

And so on, important ( consult with the technician who takes care of the property ).
